This year, the releasing of modified conditional cash transfer( MCCT) started. Two batches of releases was made; first in Gensan last January and recently this March in Palimbang. A total of 496 families (178 families in Palimbang & 318 in Palimbang needing special attention received cash grants directly. Pasali also facilitated the release of the regular conditional cash transfer, facilitating a total of 1100 families in the Municipality of Palimbang alone.

In just 1.5 hour, beneficiaries of MCCT in Palimbang received their cash grant. Also, the validation was tightened to be sure that only the right persons receive the grant. In fact, out of the 85 beneficiaries in Barangay Napnapon in Palimbang, only 65 passed. Security was heightened as the Police and military posted during the release.  Read more, Facebook

    MCCT

Pasali aims to see at least 700+ happy, healthy, school-going Tri-people children in General Santos and Palimbang as the organization implements the MCCT on behalf of DSWD for 700+ beneficiaries last 2013.
The modified elements of Pasali's MCCT include a modified Family Dev. Sessions module - one particularly built for Tri-people families, assisting the families to gain access to possibly clean water, food and income generating intervention, lobby for their school and health needs, and an exit plan.
